Hot off the press: Tomita Designs

Recently, we had the pleasure of working with Ken Tomita on the production of his two-colored business cards. He is the owner and designer of Tomita Designs, a design studio based in Portland, Oregon. Tomita creates unique furniture and interiors out of bamboo ply, which are inspired by traditional Japanese form and the multicultural background of Tomita’s upbringing.

On his website, you can view his beautiful furniture designs and track his super-fun Project Chaboo, which pairs the creativity of a wide range of artists with Tomita’s bamboo Chabu bench. Pinball’s very own Jess Hirsh recently participated in the project with a custom watercolor snake.
